About Veronica Campbell

Veronica Campbell, MFA, earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing with a concentration in Genre Fiction from Western Colorado University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Creative Writing from Valparaiso University.

She is a published fantasy writer who loves creating immersive magical worlds and characters whose struggles, passions, and growth come to life on the page. Ms. Campbell’s short stories have been featured in publications by WordFire Press and Inkd Publishing, and as a student who was homeschooled through high school, she brings AWA students unique empathy and expertise. In addition to teaching with AWA, Ms. Campbell is a passionate music instructor at a local arts center.

When not writing or teaching, you can find Ms. Campbell taking long walks in nature, trying out new vegetarian recipes, or, of course, lost in a good book. She lives in Madison, Wisconsin.
