About John Martignoni

John Martignoni is the Director of the Office of the New Evangelization for the Diocese of Birmingham in Alabama. He is also Founder and President of the Bible Christian Society, an apologetics and evangelization apostolate that reaches hundreds of thousands of people across the country and around the world with the truths of the Catholic Faith.

Mr. Martignoni is also the host of Open Line Monday on the EWTN Global Catholic Radio Network – a live, call-in program about the Catholic Faith – which is heard weekly on more than 300 radio stations throughout the U.S. Mr. Martignoni has given presentations at hundreds of parishes and conferences all over the country, and about 2 million copies of his talks have been distributed in the last few years.  

In addition to his work on radio, he has had a well-received series on EWTN television, Blue Collar Apologetics, and he shares his apologetics techniques and strategies on a regular basis through his e-newsletter, Apologetics for the Masses, which has more than 40,000 subscribers in all 50 states and more than 80 countries.

Mr. Martignoni was born and raised Catholic, but left the faith for some 13 years before returning home in his early 30’s. He holds a BS in Finance and an MBA from the
University of Alabama.
