About Irma Luz Schmitt
Mrs Schmitt teaches Spanish.
Irma Luz Schmitt was born in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She graduated from the Tec de Monterrey university, in Monterrey, Mexico with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and a Master’s Degree in Education.
She also earned a certification from Cambridge University to teach English as a second language. Besides working as an accountant for several years, Mrs. Schmitt taught Accounting, Latin American Studies, Religion, and English as a second language in two Mexican universities.
In fall 2024, she will start her 14th year teaching Spanish for Homeschool Connections. Mrs. Schmitt and her husband homeschooled their daughter for ten years; they live in Delaware.
