About Cosette Washburn

Cosette found her way to Homeschool Connections in 2025, having taught History, Literature, and Latin for three years in Arizona. After receiving her undergraduate degree in History, she spent a year in a small town on the Eastern coast of Scotland studying the Medieval world. When the Arizona heat proves oppressive in its eternal prospects, Cosette likes to imagine that she is back on the Scottish coast in a stone-walled library, pondering the ageless glory of an illuminated manuscript, preferably while it is raining outside. Cosette deeply enjoys teaching about medieval conceptions of beauty, perusing bookstores with her husband, and pursuing any wonder-filled endeavor.
