About Marjule Anne Hartmann, M.A.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Marjule earned her bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University and master’s degree in European history at Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. After a period of further study in Munich, Germany, Marjule made her way back to New Jersey, where she started teaching at a private school and married her wonderful husband, John.
Together they have two children, both homeschool graduates. Their son is a rising sophomore at Franciscan University of Steubenville and their daughter graduated this spring from Washington College and is engaged to be married.
Marjule continues to teach at her parish homeschool co-op in subjects such as literature, history, and German. When she’s not teaching or spending time with the kids, Marjule and John like to read and listen to music with their stout little pug, Watson.
