Special Notes: This is Part One of a two-part course. Students are expected to register for Part Two offered in the Spring semester. Mrs. Breier provides daily recorded lectures for the remaining weekly lessons in addition to the 15 live classes.

After a brief review of algebra, this pre-calculus course will dive deep into an advanced understanding of solving and graphing functions including rational, logarithmic, and trigonometric. Exploring applications of systems of equations and matrices concludes Part One.

Week 5-6: Power, Polynomial, and Rational Functions
Week 7-8: Exponential and Logarithmic Functions
Week 9-10: Trigonometric Functions
Week 11-12: Trigonometric Identities and Equations
Week 13-15: Systems of Equations and Matrices
Materials: Glencoe Precalculus (print edition ISBN 9780076602186, one-year digital subscription available – please contact Mrs. Breier at minimum 10 business days before the beginning of the course if you are interested in the digital copy), graphing calculator (TI-84 plus or similar), straightedge, protractor, compass, and graph paper (I highly suggest graph paper sticky notes).
Homework: Daily assignments taking about 45 minutes (not including watching daily lessons or attending live class), with weekly quizzes or tests.
