This course offers an in-depth study of human anatomy and physiology with a complete study of the basic principles of human biology and its functions. Where appropriate, discussion of contemporary bioethical issues from the perspective of the Church’s moral magisterium will be engaged. This course will focus in depth on the organ systems of the body, their anatomy, and physiology. These include the sensory, motor, and integrative systems, special organs of sense, endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, digestive, and reproductive systems.
