The student will learn the main Protestant issues concerning Christ’s Real Presence in the Eucharist, an in-depth study of all the relevant Scripture and patristic texts, as well as an overview other evidence, such as Eucharistic miracles, that lend support for Catholic doctrine.

Class 4: Institution Narratives
Class 5: The “Bread of Life” Discourse in John 6
Class 6: Other New Testament Evidence
Class 7: Eucharistic Miracles and other evidence
Class 8: Answering Common Objections / Mock Dialogue
Course Materials: Course materials supplied for free by the instructor. Students need to make sure they have a functioning headset with a microphone.
Homework: Each class will have a multi-choice quiz. There will also be a final exam to review material from the semester. Quizzes and exam are automatically graded by the computer so students have immediate feedback. Students will be encouraged to review the material and practice the responses. Parents assign the final grade. Students can expect to spend approximately 2 hours outside of class per week on homework.
