Theistic Apologetics – Other Evidence for God (Miracles and Other Phenomenon)

Take the next step in apologetics and go deep into the study of the metaphysical. You will study miracles such as the Resurrection, the Shroud of Turin, and the Day the Sun Danced. Join Catholic apologist Gary Michuta and discover the beauty that lies within our Church.

Description

Outside of the metaphysical proofs for the existence of God there are other phenomena that point to God’s existence that cannot be accounted for by a materialistic atheistic worldview. In this course, we will look at a variety of these phenomenon such as the resurrection, miracles, near-death experiences, miraculous images (i.e., Shroud of Turin, etc.), which speaks against atheism.

Class 1: Review of the metaphysical case for God

Class 2: Explaining Away Miracles (Protestantism, the Enlightenment, Hume, the New Atheist)

Class 3: The Resurrection of Christ: Looking at the Evidence

Class 4: The history of Miraculous healings / exorcisms

Class 5: Scientifically Studied Miraculous Healings

Class 6: Eucharistic Miracles

Class 7: Near-Death Studies

Class 8: the Shroud of Turin

Class 9: Shroud of Turin continued

Class 10: Other miraculous objects

Class 11: The Miracle of the Sun at Fatima

Class 12: The miracle of the Church
