Through videos, colorful text, class instruction, a workbook, Quizlet, and games/puzzles, your student will advance and solidify knowledge in several areas of mathematics. For Intro to Middle School Mathematics, Part One, we will work on math concepts, problem-solving, and vocabulary related to the Number System, Operations, Multiplying Fractions, Dividing Fractions, Ratios, Rates, Percents, and Integer Concepts. In addition to the daily homework, making use of the tools mentioned above, there will be four Section Tests and a Final Exam.

Special Notes: This is Part One of a 2-part course. Students are encouraged to register for Part Two as well. In addition to class instruction, there will be other interactive video lessons.

Homework: Weekly homework will be detailed on a daily basis and will include instructional videos, reading, class instruction, workbook exercises, Quizlet practice, games/puzzles, and a Moodle Mini-Quiz.
There will also be four Section Tests and a Final Exam on Moodle.
Students should expect to put in a minimum of one hour a day, five days a week for the coursework.
Parents should note that the answer keys in each book are for the student’s use to check themselves as they practice their daily work.
