Materials and Homework

Course Materials: Students will be provided with materials and online resources free.

Homework: Expect to spend approximately two-plus hours each week outside of the classroom on vocabulary study, reading, online assignments and quizzes. Vocabulary is assigned alongside the weekly reading for better understanding of the material and to prepare the student for the live lecture. Most of the computer- graded quiz material is based on vocabulary, what is presented in class and the homework assignments. The sequence of events for each week are as follows:

  • Read the assigned reading in the provided WordDoc
  • Write the provided vocabulary words in your notebook
  • Watch the recorded class
  • Complete any assignments.
  • Take the weekly computer-graded quiz
