This course is based on the teacher’s latest work “Hostile Witnesses: How the Historic Enemies of the Church Prove Christianity.” This course will not only demonstrate that the truth of Christianity and the Catholic Faith is sound, but it will also enhance their knowledge of Church history.

Suggested grade level: 9th to 12th

Suggested credit: 2/3 semester Theology or Apologetics. For a full semester credit, register for another theology or philosophy course. 

Description

This course is based on the teacher’s latest work “Hostile Witnesses: How the Historic Enemies of the Church Prove Christianity.” We will look at the ancient enemies of Catholicism from early pagan historians, rabbinical writings, anti-Christian apologists, and even members of the Nazi party to see how they unintentionally affirm certain key truths about Christ and His Church. This course will not only demonstrate that the truth of Christianity and the Catholic Faith is sound, but it will also enhance their knowledge of Church history.

Class #7 – Hostile Witnesses to Miracles

Class #8 – What the Nazis Thought About Catholicism and the Pope.
