Career Explorations: How to Prepare for Life After High School, Part One

Discovering a career path can seem daunting. Through investigation, journaling, prayer, and discussion, this course can embolden you to espy, or “catch sight of,” where God is leading. God truly has a plan for each of us and has imbued us with charisms, or Gifts of the Spirit. Investigate careers of your choice, and discover the education, training, and skills to seek Him and discover possibilities for the student’s lifelong journey. Gain the tools to inquire while building habits to move toward the future with greater confidence. Sign up for Part Two, Career Quest, to continue exploring the topic.

Materials and Homework

Course Materials:

  • Various free online resources;
  • Favorite pen;
  • Nice bound lined journal (similar to ISBN: 978-1642720129)

Homework: Students should plan 2-3 hours per week outside of class time for daily journaling, weekly reading, weekly assessments, and/or investigations, and a final presentation.
