Introductory Latin, Part 1

Enjoy language, vocabulary, and grammar in this fun, introductory middle school Latin course — and gain confidence in basic Latin grammar and vocabulary. Part 1 of 2.

Description

Students will be introduced to basic Latin grammar and vocabulary through fun activities and homework assignments. They will also be encouraged to use certain online resources to help them develop good study habits. This course will prepare students for Beginning Latin. Materials will be supplied free by the instructor. We will explore both Classical and Ecclesiastical pronunciations.

Latin dictionary with both a Latin to English as well as an English to Latin section (such as the New College Latin and English Dictionary, ISBN #0877205612, http://amzn.to/2FLBwDS). A working microphone is required for this course. No online dictionaries, please. All other course materials provided free by the instructor.)
