Homeschool Connections and Education Savings Accounts
Homeschool Connections participates as a vendor/service provider in several states who offer funds for homeschool families. These funds can then be used by families towards purchasing our live and recorded courses as part of your homeschooling efforts.
Please see the table for the states we are listed as a vendor.
Note: Each state requirements are different. You can find those requirements by clicking on the state name in the table to the right.
Disclaimer: Participation means we are an approved vendor/service provider, but families must confirm eligibility and allowable expenses directly with the state’s ESA program
FAQs
What is an Education Savings Account (ESA)?
An Education Savings Account is a trust established by a state government for the purpose of providing financial support to citizens of the same state who qualify for the funds towards educating their children. These funds can be used for various purposes.
The qualifications vary from state to state. The only real way to know if you qualify is to visit the state’s ESA site to learn about the qualifying factors.
How does Homeschool Connections qualify for ESA funds?
Homeschool Connections does meet some state requirements as a homeschool provider of online courses. See the adjacent table for the list of states for which we qualify. We do not meet every state’s requirements. Please learn more about the requirements of your respective state by clicking on your state’s name.
How do I apply ESA funds to Homeschool Connections courses?
Once approved in your state program, log into your ESA account/dashboard, select Homeschool Connections as the provider, and request payment for our live or recorded courses.
I see there are states that are not listed. Why are they omitted from the list?
Not every state has passed legislation that establishes an ESA account so they are not listed on the table.
