Prerequisite: This class is for students who have registered for the SAT exam and are in their final stages of preparation.

Description
This SAT Verbal Boot Camp will help students prepare to sit the SAT exam. Basic grammar, textual summary and synthesis, and vocabulary skills will be reviewed, but this course is designed to teach students how to use what they already know rather than to introduce new content. Accordingly, class time will be spent studying SAT question types, timing strategies, and other tips and tricks for test taking success. We will also discuss testing accommodations, but please be aware that students need to register for accommodations with the College Board far in advance of the test date.

Homework: This is an intensive boot camp course, so students should expect to spend at least an hour a day working on their test preparation. This does not include class time. Students will be assigned worksheets to complete daily from the College Panda book, as well as readings and practice tests. Expect to complete two SAT practice tests during the course of our boot camp!
