Introduction to Catholicism 101, Part One: Fundamentals of the Faith

This course will follow a “flipped-classroom” approach. Each week students will watch Mr. Horn’s 40-minute pre-recorded lecture before attending the live, interactive class on Tuesday. The live 30-minute class will be an engaging Q&A with the students.

Description

Fundamentals of Faith will cover Part One of the Catechism of the Catholic Church with an emphasis on God, Divine Revelation, the Trinity, and the Catholic Church.

Homework:

1. Watch the recorded lecture before attending class.

2. Weekly reading of approx. 20 pages of the Catechism and 5-10 pages of Why We’re Catholic.

3. Submit one discussion question in advance of each lecture and take the weekly quiz.
