Learn all about Chesterton as an author, his wisdom, and his ability to point out error and bring common sense to the forefront of our lives. Join Dr. Chalberg as he comes to class dressed as Chesterton and teaches Common Sense from Chesterton’s perspective!
This course will present an overview of G.K. Chesterton’s thinking on a number of subjects, all related to Catholicism and common sense. The centerpiece will be Dale Ahlquist’s “Common Sense 101”, which is based on the EWTN series featuring Mr. Ahlquist as himself and Dr. Chalberg as G. K. Chesterton. The course itself will be taught with Dr. Chalberg in character as Mr. Chesterton. Included will be prepared short segments on topics related to the reading in which Dr. Chalberg will be Mr. Chesterton. The class will also include a discussion between the students and Mr. Chesterton on the assigned reading from the Ahlquist book.
