This is an introductory course to the Spanish language and covers the basics of Spanish as a second language. In this course, the student will learn the meaning, pronunciation, and spelling of common vocabulary and basic Spanish grammar.
Part One of the course teaches the meaning and pronunciation of the alphabet, words, and phrases, and it emphasizes how to write sentences in Spanish using articles, nouns and adjectives in Spanish and provides an understanding of the number and gender relationship between them. The course also teaches how to write questions and answers using some interrogative words such as ¿Qué? ¿Quién? ¿Dónde? ¿Cuándo? ¿Cuánto? and introduces the student to the conjugation of regular verbs in the present tense. By the end of Part I, the student will be able to understand and write simple dialogs in Spanish.
