About Rachel Maschke, MA
Rachel Maschke has a Master of Arts in History from Eastern Michigan University and over a decade of writing experience in academic and creative spaces. Ms. Maschke has published research on the academic database Alexander Street, and early in her academic career, she knew her passion for writing and teaching would guide her path.
As a teaching assistant at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, she instructed undergraduate students in the fundamentals of writing as it relates to history and trained them in best research practices. As a volunteer intern at the Detroit Historical Museum, Ms. Maschke had the opportunity to develop, write, and install exhibits. She leads a writing group for local authors in her area.
Ms. Maschke resides in Michigan with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending her time outside or visiting the local library with her family, reading, and creative writing.
